For my behind the scenes project I watched the behind the scenes of Avengers Infinity War. I chose this movie because not only is it very popular but as soon as I watched it I really liked it and wanted to do this project on it. Watching the behind the scenes of this movie and listening to what the actors had to say about the making of the movie made me see this movie in a different way. All of the actors talked about how much they loved working with each other and how fun it was to be involved in the process of not just making this movie but also making all of the other movies in the Marvel Universe that lead up to this movie. I have not watched many behind the scenes of movies or shows but I still have never seen a cast that was closer than this one and how genuinely happy they all were to work together and be apart of this movie. Something I did not know about this movie before I watched the behind the scenes was just how much thought and preparations were put into all of the previous movies just to set up the story and action of this movie. Many little details were put into previous movies that many people including myself didn’t realize the purpose of or saw how it fit in until this movie when everything was put together and most loose ends were tied up. In this film the crew had to go through so many different action scenes that were so fast. This meant that so much work had to go into these scenes the actors and stunt doubles had to get there movements exact and the editing crew had to go through so much to get the right shots that maximized the effects of each of these scenes. I believe the editing of shots and variety of shots in these scenes is what helped turn this movie into such a big hit. The process of this movie goes so far beyond just the script of this movie. Like I said earlier the creators of these Marvel movies have been setting up everything that would go down in Infinity War and the newest movie Endgame ever since the first Iron Man movie in 2008. Every action and outcome of these movies was so meticulously thought out that it’s so much to keep track of. In every movie that has came out since 2008 you can slowly piece together everything and connect everything to all the other movies as well. I think it would be pretty cool to work on a movie set and if I were to work on a movie set I believe there would be two jobs I would want. I would either want to be one of the actors in the film or one of the editors. I think I would enjoy being an editor because I would like the progression and seeing the movie unfold in front of my eyes.
